This iconic Leura building, home to the world’s largest private collection of teapots, was transformed into a modern museum space while preserving its 1917 heritage charm.
The renovation integrated sustainable practices, including reusing materials like floorboards, beams, and sandstone, alongside recycling efforts that achieved a 98% waste recovery rate. With a carefully staged approach, the project ensured the tearooms remained operational throughout, blending old-world elegance with functional, eco-friendly design.
