Built to BAL-FZ bushfire requirements using insulated precast concrete panels, thermally broken windows, and flame-zone shutters, the home cascades down the slope in dramatic levels. Each space was tailored to showcase the client’s extensive art collection while maintaining strong thermal performance, comfort, and connection to nature. Polished concrete floors, exposed steel, recycled timber, and custom coloured concrete features give the home its raw yet refined feel. With a hydronic zoned heating/cooling system, a 27,000L water tank, and an impressive 93% construction waste recycling rate, The Art House delivers on every front—form, function, and sustainability.
